My first musical at Illinois Wesleyan was The Boys from Syracuse,  playing the role of the Seeress/Emelia! This was a really interesting role for me.  We cobbled together the Seeress and the Sorcerer to make my character, which caused the Sorcerer's lines in particular to change quite a bit.  I got to creep around and spy on characters, as well as give plenty of annoyed faces at the Dromios, as you'll see above! This was a very challenging show for me; my director Scott Susong was a huge help in pushing me to create a larger-than-life character and make bolder choices.   On top of it, I had a wonderful costume and a staff and crystal ball to play with--who doesn't dream of that?
